What can I put in my dumpster?
Dumpsters can be used for general waste which is typically material that is neither liquid nor of a hazardous nature.

 

What can’t go in the dumpster?
Hazardous waste can not be placed in the dumpster. This includes TV’s, monitors, fridges, paints, solvents, liquids or any asbestos.   Please refer to Terms of Use.

 

Which waste types are serviced?
Household Debris, Clean Construction Debris, Concrete, Soil / Dirt, Stump and Brush.

What is Household Debris?
Light comingle waste from a house hold cleanup. DO NOT PUT: Dirt, bricks, concrete, food waste, asbestos, hazardous waste, chemicals, insulation materials, liquids, gas bottles, tires, mattresses, computer monitors or hard drives, or any electrical equipment with plugs.

What is Clean Construction Debris?
Wood, Plaster, Insulation, Styrofoam, Tiles, Ceramic Goods, Sheet Rock/Drywall.

What is Clean Concrete?
Concrete ONLY. DO NOT PUT: Anything other than clean concrete in this receptacle. NO dirt, bricks, asphalt or ceramics.

What is Soil / Dirt?
100% pure soil / dirt (no turf or contaminants). No other waste can be mixed in this dumpster.  Additional charges will apply if other waste is placed in this dumpster.

What is Stump and Brush?
Tree stumps and branches.
 

How high can I fill the dumpster?
Dumpsters can be filled level to the top, except for the Concrete waste type. This dumpster must not be filled any further than half way due to weight restrictions. (Haulers face prosecution for unsafe or overweight loads).

 

I don’t know what size dumpster I need?
The website provides a scale drawing of dumpster sizes. Click on the "Dimensions" button during the order process to determine the size of each dumpster.

 

How long can I keep the dumpster?
Prices include a 10 day rental.  Longer rental arrangements are available for additional charges.

 

What if I’m not finished with the dumpster by pick-up day?
If unforeseen circumstances mean that you have not finished with the dumpster, please contact us  as early as possible. Provided the dumpster has not been ordereded out on another job, we can usually be flexible.

 

When and how do I pay for the dumpster?
All dumpster orders must be paid for at the time of delivery. We accept payment by check or cash only.

 

How much weight can I put in the dumpster?
This depends on the size of the dumpster. During the order process you are told the weight limit for each different dumpster size.

 

What do I do with hazardous chemicals?
You cannot put any hazardous waste into the dumpsters. Anything of a hazardous nature should be disposed of carefully with the right procedure. If you are unsure of how to dispose of any hazardous waste you need to contact your local counties hazardous waste department.

 

Will the truck be able to get up my driveway?
Your driveway needs to be at least 10 feet wide for a normal truck with a 9 cubic yard dumpster (allow wider access if necessary for a larger truck). You should also ensure there are no low hanging trees, power lines or the like, that may hinder the access and placement of the container at time of delivery.
